Security
So we have a new state of the art security system at the CCP, Gitty and Coco a Ridgeback and Pit Bull respectivly. There pretty awesome dogs, and go with the lot perfectly. Gitty isnt the sharpest knife in the drawer but is big and has a good bark.

Breakdown

The hardest part so far has been removing the rotten wood from the floor of the 40' shipping container. They build those things to be durable. A sharpend metal pole became the tool of choice, along with a pick axe and hand saw. I would definetly approach it with power tools next time, but hopefully thats the only one that will need a new floor.
We scored a couple windows, skylights, doors, 3/4 in plywood, footings, and electrical conduit at RE-USE Hawaii. I toatally reccomend this place for any builder who is down for a little treasure hunt. They take apart houses which are about to get demolished and sell the usable stuff. It is great and I think its one of the best places on the island. The guys who work there are a great help, always friendly and dont make you feel stupid when you dont know what your doing.
A Lot Has Changed...
So in the last few weeks the lot has really taken form. For the people who couldnt see it, they can now. Two containers are situated where they need to be and level! Shipping containers have to be the builders dream. No foundations needed, strong, ready to cut holes into. The way we placed them on the lot will also alow for easch artist studio to have their own back yard.
We have started painting the containers, and even started painting the inside of one of the studios. A bit hard with a roller, so i think im going to attack it with a brush today.

The Containers Made it!

We got two shipping containers delivered today from Containers Hawaii. One 45 footer and a 40 footer. The Smaller one was in worse shape than I had thought, but we got such a good deal on it, I couldnt pass it up. I started stripping the interior, and getting them back down to the basics, before I start filling holes and painting walls.
